We are dedicated to a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, and our goal is to work cooperatively with your primary physician and/or other involved healthcare professionals to achieve maximum results for you. Dr. Mayers is skilled in the diagnosis and conservative treatment of all forms of musculoskeletal injury and dysfunction.

We strive to create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for all of our patients so that improved health can be the focus of each and every visit to our office. We will take time to listen carefully to you, the patient, so that we understand your concerns and expectations as well as your overall health picture. This allows us to design a treatment program that is specifically tailored to your individual needs.

We offer a variety of chiropractic techniques and treatment plans based on the latest research and over twenty years of combined experience. We offer a full complement of physiotherapy modalities for both pain relief and neuromuscular rehabilitation. We arewilling to work cooperatively to accommodate your needs.

Dr. Mayers agree with healthcare guidelines stating that patients should experience some resolution of symptoms within two weeks of beginning chiropractic treatment. If this does not occur, the technique and treatment program will be modified until a more positive result is achieved. In rare instances where this approach is not successful, the patient will be referred to another physician for a second opinion and/or further diagnostic testing. Immediate referral to an appropriate specialist will be made for any patient whose diagnosis warrants treatment beyond conservative chiropractic care.

Office visits are by appointment only so that we can assure all our patients of minimal waiting time before treatment.

A note to parents: your children are welcome to accompany you when you visit our office. Age appropriate games and interaction with our staff will keep them safely occupied so that you can relax while receiving your treatment.

We work with most insurance companies, and are providers for most area PPO and POS plans. We also provide affordable arrangements for patients without health insurance. We accept Worker's Compensation and Personal Injury Cases. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding your insurance coverage.

SERVICES OFFERED

1) CHIROPRACTIC TECHNIQUES- Dr. Mayers is certified and proficient in the full range of diversified chiropractic techniques. Supplemental techniques include: Activator, Thompson-Drop, S.O.T, and Flexion Distraction.

2) MUSCLE TECHNIQUES- A variety of techniques are offered including: Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release, PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular fascilitation), and PIR (post-isometric relaxation).

3) PHYSIOLOGICAL THERAPEUTICS-for pain relief and neuromuscular rehabilitation including Interferential and Muscle Stimulation as well as a full range of electrical modalities. Ultrasound and Hot/Cold Therapy are offered as well.

5) EXERCISE REHABILITATION- Graduated exercise programs are prescribed for each patient's specific condition. Exercise prescriptions are continually modified and upgraded as needed so patients can obtain maximum benefit from treatment in the shortest time possible. Upon completing treatment, patients are given maintenance exercises to prevent re-occurrence of their condition.

6) VESTIBULAR REHABILITATION- Working in conjunction with an ear, nose, and throat specialist, treatment programs can be customized for patients with chronic or recurrent dizziness and vertigo.

7) MULTIDISCIPLINARY COORDINATION- Dr. Mayers maintains working relationships with a variety of healthcare professionals and specialists. Appropriate referrals will be made for any patient whose condition warrants treatment beyond the scope of chiropractic.
